Prize-giving ceremony with the four prize-winners Anterior Posterior
The archaeologist Mohamed Sahnouni, coordinator of the Archaeology Programme at the Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución humana (CENIEH) has received today the "Algerian Scholar Ward 2024" in recognition of his 35 years of archaeological research in Algeria.
The ‘Algerian Scholar Award’ aims to honour each year Algerian scholars and researchers who have distinguished Algeria with their research and inventions in various fields and disciplines.
In 2024, the fifteenth edition has awarded four Algerian scientists in addition to Prof. Sahnouni: Prof. Mohamed Bourennane in Quantum Informatics, Dr. Maha Saadi Achour in Optical Telecommunications, Prof. Malik Maaza in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology.
